GAPP IN MEDIA - BLOG

Back in 1975 a group of people including a journalist from then Nation Review and a former sales manager left over from King’s Cross Whisper set out to bring out a weekly subscription news sheet directed at writing the stories the main news media journalists had been told not to print. The Publication was from GAPP Media Services named after the initials of the founders. As a subscription only mag it was able to escape the censorship from Australia’s very tightly controlled press.

An age has moved on into electronic print but reporting of facts in the main stream media still seems to have it limitations. Public opinion as reported on stories tends to remain polarised often on a political basis. Consequently this Blog is designed to aim at the same ground it targeted long ago, the GAP[P] in the media reporting.
